Mission Statement

Developed to fill a key niche in junior golf, the IMG Leadbetter Junior Golf Tour provides an elite setting for junior golfers to compete and gain exposure to college golf, professional golf, national junior rankings and athletic excellence.

How we are different

  • Value. We seek to run top-quality national events at a price that reflects the value you receive. A $249 or $299 (member/non-member) tournament entry fee for each event includes a practice round and two competitive rounds of golf at high-quality venues, at least two buffet meals over the course of the event, special educational presentations that will improve your game, as well as exceptional tournament gifts including merchandise from Under Armour, our official apparel provider.

  • No Membership Required. We are confident in the quality of our events and want to give every player the chance to see what we are all about in our initial season without committing to a membership.
  • Player Development. Our members will have access to unique resources at our tournaments that will enable them to grow and develop not only as an athlete but as an individual. Interactive educational events that make up “The Leadbetter Series” will provide players and their families with an opportunity at each event to meet and receive advice from experts and professionals on topics such as fitness and nutrition, mental performance, media training, public speaking and college recruiting.
  •  People. The IMG Leadbetter Junior Golf Tour staff has tremendous experience in running world-class golf events at both the amateur and professional level, and is committed to making your experience memorable and worthwhile. Our parent company, IMG Worldwide, has more than 40 years of experience managing elite golf athletes and events across the world.
  • National Rankings/AJGA Performance Based Entry. A great opportunity exists to play your way into prestigious national events. AJGA Performance Based Entry status is available at all IMG Leadbetter Junior Golf Tour events for the 2010-2011 season.

Meet the staff

Blake Ulrich is the Director of Events at IMG Academies and oversees all events at IMG Academies including the IMG Leadbetter Junior Golf Tour. Blake has been with IMG for over nine years and has conducted over 25 professional golf events including The Battle at the Bridges, The Skins Game, Tavistock Cup, HSBC Women’s World Match Play Championship and the ADT Championship. Andrew Parr is the Tournament Director for the IMG Leadbetter Junior Golf Tour overseeing day-to-day operations of the tour. Andrew brings to the tour a wealth of experience in running elite national-level junior golf championships after serving four years as a Tournament Director and Senior Tournament Director with the American Junior Golf Association. Kim Berard serves as the Marketing & Public Relations Director for IMG Academies and the IMG Leadbetter Junior Golf Tour. Prior to working at IMG Academies, Kim spent three years as Director of Public Relations for the LPGA Tour, where she helped elevate the profiles of up-and-coming players, while creating PR platforms for the Tour’s global stars. Jesse Gilmer is Manager of US Business Development at IMG and is responsible for Sales & Sponsorship Relations for the IMG Leadbetter Junior Golf Tour.
